Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Department Technician to join our team at Central Maine Medical Center. As a key member of our Emergency Department, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care activities under the supervision of the Emergency Department's Registered Nurse or Physician.
  • Perform approved procedures per policy and adhere to hospital safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Assist with patient transfers, transportation, and preparation of equipment for procedures.
  • Monitor stock and restock supplies as needed in the Emergency Department.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS preferred, required within 6 months of hire.
  • CNA certification or EMT license with at least one year of work experience required.
