This position is a part-time role requiring 2-3 days of onsite work. As the Environmental Health and Safety Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to uphold the EHS management framework in alignment with both internal standards and regulatory obligations. You will spearhead EHS initiatives on site as necessary and perform regular assessments and audits to evaluate the effectiveness of the system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the EHS management framework and lead various projects
  • Conduct thorough inspections and audits
  • Collaborate with site leadership on EHS matters
  • Manage the Emergency Response Program
  • Generate EHS reports and performance metrics
  • Evaluate the EHS implications of proposed changes

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is mandatory
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with ISO-certified quality systems is advantageous
  • Knowledgeable in regulatory compliance and risk management
