Health Advocates Network is seeking a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor to work at a facility in California.
As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, you will work with clients to address their emotional and mental health needs. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Informing clients about financial and emotional commitments
- Consulting with clients to gauge their difficulties and resources
- Devising treatment regimens and adapting them as needed
- Addressing concerns through talk therapy and modeling adaptive behaviors
- Promoting self-reflection, coping techniques, and nurturing relationships
- Monitoring client perceptions and adherence to treatment
- Recording symptomology over time
- Writing medical and referral notes
Requirements:
- Minimum 1-year experience as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor within the last 36 months
- Proficient in multiple local languages (preferred)
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Committed to delivering culturally congruent treatment
- Strong community orientation
- Empathic, sensitive, and driven to foster healing
- Valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
- Required licenses, permits, and/or certifications in the state of CA
