Job Summary:
As a Property Staff Accountant at RKW Residential, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our multifamily property portfolio. You will be responsible for handling the full accounting cycle, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting and analysis. Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies.

General Ledger Accounting:
Maintain accurate general ledger records, perform account reconciliations, and analyze financial data to identify trends and potential issues.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:
Collaborate with AP/AR teams to process invoices, payments, and collections efficiently.

Financial Analysis:
Conduct variance analysis, prepare budgets and forecasts, and provide insights to support data-driven decision-making.

Cash Management:
Oversee property operating cash accounts, manage bank reconciliations, and optimize cash flow.

Collaboration:
Work closely with property management teams to provide financial guidance and support.

Systems:
Leverage Yardi, AlfredOS, Realpage, and MS365 to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency.

Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
Experience: 2+ years of experience in accounting or a related field. Real estate accounting experience is a plus.

Skills:
Strong understanding of GAAP, proficiency in Excel and accounting software, excellent communication and analytical skills.
