Job Title: Automotive Service Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automotive Service Manager to join our team at Hiring Winners. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for leading a team of technicians and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily one-on-one meetings with customers to identify potential service issues and provide solutions.
  • Monitor and control automotive repair and maintenance operations to prevent delays and ensure efficiency.
  • Work closely with the service director to set departmental objectives and develop strategies to achieve them.
  • Recruit, interview, and train service staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent service.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily sales and production, as well as review and evaluate service sales performance.
  • Staff technical teams to meet production requirements and ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with new products and changes to existing products to ensure that our customers receive the best possible service.
  • Maintain department finances within established parameters and ensure that all warranty activity is compliant with policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that all repair orders are processed efficiently and that productivity is maximized.
  • Monitor and control all warranty activity to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to dealership policy on client vehicle care and operation.
  • Administer payroll for service staff in cooperation with the payroll department, securing approval from the service director and general manager.
  • Enforce OSHA requirements, procedures, and regulations.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and participate in operational planning.
  • Maintain the facility and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Conduct weekly department meetings and attend weekly manager meetings to stay informed and provide updates.
Requirements:

We are looking for an individual with a strong background in automotive service management, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A minimum of 2-4 years of related experience and/or an Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school is required.
