About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in providing exceptional care to patients in our Sexual Health Clinic. This part-time position supports a pilot initiative to increase access for underserved populations, with flexible hours that may include evening and/or Saturday morning clinic sessions or other community events, up to 20 hours per week.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a public health, community or other ambulatory care setting, with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team-based environment. Ambulatory Care Nursing experience is preferred, as well as fluency in Spanish, Portuguese or Haitian Creole.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with the NP and/or Attending Physician to coordinate and implement the comprehensive plan of care.
  • Triage calls and respond to referrals from and about prospective new patients.
  • Provide education and follow up for patients regarding sexual health, STIs (sexually transmitted infection)/HIV prevention and transmission, harm reduction, treatment of STIs, and/or HIV PrEP/PEP.

This role requires a high degree of autonomy, self-direction, and initiative, with a focus on delivering patient-centered care in a dynamic outpatient clinical setting. The successful candidate will be passionate about promoting health equity and reducing disparities in healthcare outcomes.
