Ladgov Corporation is seeking a skilled Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team at the Federal Prison Camp Bryan. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and competent nursing care to inmates within the correctional facility's healthcare unit.
Responsibilities:- Assist registered nurses and medical staff in delivering direct patient care to inmates, ensuring their physical and mental well-being.
- Provide basic hygiene and grooming assistance, maintaining respect for the individual's dignity and privacy.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, as directed by the medical team.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely administration of prescribed treatment plans and medications.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment within the healthcare unit, adhering to infection control measures.
- Assist in the transfer and transport of patients as needed, following security guidelines.
- Observe and report any changes in inmates' physical or mental health status to the appropriate medical personnel.
- Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure as a CNA.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in correctional or similar environments.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve standing, bending, and lifting.
- Compliance with all federal, state, and institutional regulations and protocols.
