Job Summary:

As a Medical Assistant at CommonSpirit Health, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Medical Assistant, responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments
• Obtain and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, including drawing blood and administering injections
• Perform routine tests, including EKGs, and schedule patients for diagnostic testing
• Communicate with patients regarding test results and plan of care
• Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and other team members to ensure effective patient care delivery

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Ability to perform EKGs, draw blood, and administer injections
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
• Strong work ethic and high level of professionalism
