Orthodontic Assistant Opportunity

Franklin Dental & Braces, a Benevis company, is seeking a skilled Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our orthodontic department, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our mission to create happy, healthy smiles.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment journey.
  • Guide patients and parents through our processes, educating them on oral hygiene instruction and postoperative care.
  • Assist professional dental staff with treatment, taking x-rays, saving to patient charts, and preparing patient for examination and treatment.
  • Prepare tray set-ups for dental procedures, mix amalgam, cement, pulp paste, and prepare impression materials.
  • Document patient information, treatment plans, and procedures in patient charts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, ensuring operational readiness and adhering to government regulations, company standards, and compliance programs.
Qualifications:
  • Orthodontic or Dental Assistant Certification (State dependent)
  • Preferred at least 1 year of experience in Orthodontic Assisting
  • Willing to travel in territory assigned to team
  • High focus on customer service and satisfaction
  • Compassion and high level of service for patients, parents, and staff
  • Integrity, always doing the right thing
  • Dependable, reliable to be at work when scheduled
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to organize work, engage in a variety of tasks simultaneously, and consistently meet deadlines
