Job Summary:
As a key member of the Hamilton Health Care System team, the Radiologic Technologist plays a vital role in ensuring the quality and continuity of patient care. This position requires a strong understanding of radiographic examination procedures and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform radiographic examinations on patients of all age populations, utilizing a range of imaging modalities to capture high-quality images.
- Assist in the clinical training of radiologic technology students, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills.
- Contribute to the efficient operation of the department, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth workflows and high-quality patient care.
- Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of radiographic examination procedures, staying up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies.
Requirements:
- Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served.
- Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development and assess data reflective of the patient's current status in relation to their age-specific needs.
