Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical ICU Physician Assistant to join our team at Richmond University Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care services for surgically critically ill complex patients in an intensive care setting.

Responsibilities

- Conduct physical exams, collect and document data, and perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Order and schedule laboratory studies and professional consultations, prescribe appropriate interventions and medications, and coordinate patient care and discharge.
- Collaborate with and under the supervision of attending physicians to ensure comprehensive patient services.

Requirements

- Graduate degree from an accredited PA School required.
- Licensure as a PA in New York State required.
- Certification as a PA by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or 5 years surgical PA experience required.
- Relevant experience practicing within Surgical and/or Critical Care setting.
