Job Summary
The Medical Laboratory Technician performs a variety of clinical laboratory tests, procedures, and related duties. This role requires a strong understanding of scientific principles and technical aptitudes for day-to-day laboratory operations.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited two-year-college program or technical school
- Six months to one year of related experience or training preferred
- Certification as Medical Laboratory Technician from the ASCP, AMT, or equivalent required within 12 months of hire
Work Schedule
This full-time position offers a varied shift schedule, including 8 am - 6 pm, 7:30 am - 4 pm, Noon to 8 pm, or 2:30 pm to 11 pm. Rotating shifts every 3rd weekend/holiday, with 72 hours every 2 weeks.
