Medical Laboratory Technician Full-Time, Second Shift

Award-winning healthcare organization Avera St. Luke's Hospital is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team.
This position may be eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus with a 2-year commitment.
As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will perform a variety of clinical laboratory tests, procedures, and related duties.
Utilize scientific principles, technical, procedural, and problem-solving aptitudes for day-to-day laboratory technical operations, quality control, quality assurance, procedure/instrument maintenance, and corrective action.
Education and/or experience: Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited two-year-college program or technical school is required.
Six months to one year of related experience or training preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Certification as Medical Laboratory Technician from the ASCP, AMT, or equivalent required within 12 months of hire.
Work Schedule: Varied Shift Schedule: 8 am - 6 pm, 7:30 am - 4 pm, Noon to 8 pm, or 2:30 pm to 11 pm; May fill in on overnight shift from 7 pm to 7 am as needed.
Rotate every 3rd weekend/holiday.
Full Time; 72 hours every 2 weeks.
Pay: The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$31.75 per hour.
