Position Overview
The Senior Manager of Federal Regulatory Affairs is responsible for developing, advocating, and managing federal regulatory matters for Constellation. Reporting to the Managing Director of Federal Regulatory Affairs, this role involves collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to formulate and promote federal energy regulatory and market policy positions on behalf of Constellation.

Key Responsibilities
- Engage in regulatory proceedings, conduct research, and draft pleadings and supporting documents.
- Advocate for Constellation's positions at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and other relevant organizations.
- Identify emerging FERC issues and communicate them promptly to corporate and business unit executives.
- Collaborate with internal and external resources to establish federal policy objectives and strategies for advocacy.

Minimum Qualifications
- A four-year degree and a minimum of eight years of experience in energy regulatory or legal matters related to natural gas and electric utilities.
- Proven expertise in policy development, administrative litigation, and appellate litigation involving FERC or similar agencies.
- Strong writing and oral communication skills to effectively represent the company in regulatory matters.

Preferred Qualifications
- At least eight years of experience as an industry or regulatory analyst, policy advisor, attorney, or a similar role, with a focus on FERC oversight of electric and natural gas utilities.
- Established relationships with FERC staff and a solid understanding of wholesale markets, particularly in the PJM region.
