Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Advanced Patient Care Tech to join our team at Medical City Plano. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient-centric care, ensuring the highest level of comfort and well-being for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Obtain and record patient information, including vital signs, height and weight, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, intake and output, calorie counts, and other relevant data.
  • Document observations, interactions, patient responses to performed activities, and any physical or behavioral changes at the time of occurrence.
  • Report observations of patients to the RN/Team Lead and assist with mobility by regular turning and positioning, dangling, and ambulating patients.
  • Help patients with activities of daily living, including eating and drinking, bathing, shaving, oral care, grooming, and elimination.
  • Perform hourly rounding and respond promptly to call lights and patient requests.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • High School Graduate/GED.
  • Medical City Plano is a 600+ bed acute care hospital with a team of over 2,000 employees and over 1,400 physicians on staff.
