We are seeking a skilled and compassionate LPN to join our team in the Stroke Unit at Trinity Health. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Job Summary:The LPN Stroke Unit Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care, administering medications, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including vital sign monitoring, wound care, and medication administration.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Document patient information and progress in the electronic medical record.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
- Current LPN licensure in the State of Michigan.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- One year of experience in a progressive care unit or similar setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
