Job Summary
The Registered Nurse - Hospice Program will be responsible for providing holistic care to patients and their loved ones, promoting comfort, dignity, and quality of life. This role requires a strong understanding of hospice care principles, effective communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assessing needs, developing care plans, and implementing interventions to promote comfort and well-being
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care coordination
- Educate patients and families on hospice care options, benefits, and resources
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to ensure patient goals are met
Requirements
- RN licensure required; BSN preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in hospice or palliative care
- Strong knowledge of hospice care principles, policies, and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Salary and Benefits
