Store Manager in Training

At Insomnia Cookies, we're seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Store Manager in Training. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Ops Manager in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our store.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in managing store operations, including inventory control, scheduling, and customer service.
  • Supervise and train new team members, ensuring they meet our high standards for quality and customer service.
  • Conduct initial interviews for potential new hires and provide feedback to the Store Ops Manager.
  • Support the Store Ops Manager with ordering, inventory control, and scheduling.
  • Hold team members accountable to our company standards, including baking, uniform, and company policies.
  • Upsell and provide excellent customer service, ensuring all team members are doing the same.
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or retail store.
  • Prior experience conducting in-person interviews of hourly support staff.
  • Prior Point of Sale (POS) systems experience.
  • Ability to utilize MS Office, Word, and our Applicant Tracking System.
  • Ability to work a 4-5 day work week and 1-2 mid-to-late shifts throughout the latter part of the week (Thurs-Sun).
  • Must be 18 years of age or older and have legal eligibility for employment in the United States.
