Job Summary

Marc Jacobs International is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stock Associate to join its team in San Diego, CA. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining a well-organized stock room and sales floor, ensuring accurate inventory levels, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory levels, including receiving, storing, and stocking merchandise.
  • Stockroom Organization: Ensure the stock room is organized and maintained to company standards, including labeling and categorizing merchandise.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, including answering questions, resolving issues, and making recommendations.
  • Merchandise Preparation: Prepare merchandise for vendor returns, transfers, or customer shipments, including inspecting and packaging items.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Monitor UPS log and track packages, arrange hand deliveries, and run errands as needed.
  • Store Maintenance: Clean the sales floor and stock room, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Inventory Counts: Assist with annual store inventory and monthly cycle counts, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Team Support: Provide support to sales staff during times of heavy volume, including assisting with sales floor tasks and answering customer questions.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years of retail or stock-related experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skills: Excellent organization and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Excel, Word, and Internet, with experience with Retail Pro a plus.

Marc Jacobs International offers a competitive hourly rate, ranging from $16 to $18 per hour, plus incentive.
