We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Store Associate at Cents Only Stores LLC. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers have a great shopping experience by providing exceptional customer service and supporting the overall operations of the store.
Key Responsibilities- Provide first-line customer support and assist shoppers with their queries and needs.
- Assist with receiving and unloading shipments, stocking and displaying merchandise, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
- Process and return to stock all go-backs, break down cardboard boxes, and place them in the baler.
- Retrieve shopping carts from the parking lot and report any illegal activity to Store Management.
- Follow all Company safety procedures and work independently with minimal direction.
- Clean up spills, floors, shelves, displays, bathrooms, and perform additional duties as assigned by Management or Supervisors.
- A positive attitude and the ability to interact effectively and friendly with customers and associates.
- The ability to comprehend instructions, both verbal and written, and multi-task to meet shift goals and expectations.
- The ability to regularly lift one to five pounds, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- The ability to constantly stand, bend, and reach with a moderate amount of manual dexterity.
- The ability to learn to use a baler and pallet jack.
