Role Overview:
As a Senior Signaling Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our customers' experiences. This position entails engineering rail signaling systems, including circuit designs and vital logic programming, while adhering to customer specifications, railroad standards, and FRA regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, your daily tasks will include:
- Completing wayside and crossing designs.
- Programming vital logic controllers (VLC).
- Conducting wayside interface unit (WIU) programming.
- Reviewing project scope with managers and project leads.
- Participating in project reviews with customers and project leads.
- Utilizing CADD programs, including Microstation and AutoCAD.
- Managing and organizing files within a document control system, ensuring proper versioning controls.
- Reviewing deliverables for accuracy and compliance prior to submission.
- Producing documentation as required by Quality System standards.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in signaling.
- Proficiency in the MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
