Role Summary:

The Project Manager I plays a pivotal role in steering the activities and personnel associated with projects of varying scales, particularly focusing on non-IT business applications. This position entails managing all dimensions of one or more complex projects throughout their entire lifecycle. The Project Manager I will work closely with project sponsors, business units, and stakeholders to outline project objectives, formulate project initiatives, implement strategic plans, allocate and supervise project personnel, and guarantee project success. They are tasked with delivering effective project solutions to business challenges within established budgets and timelines, providing expert direction and support throughout the project lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the activities and personnel involved in projects, emphasizing non-IT business applications.
  • Manage all aspects of single or multiple complex projects through their complete lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with project sponsors and business units to define project objectives and develop initiatives.
  • Assign and guide project staff, ensuring successful task execution.
  • Deliver effective solutions to business challenges within budgetary and time constraints.
  • Provide ongoing project guidance and support throughout the project completion.
  • Prepare tracking, reporting, and presentations for management and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate expertise in medical devices and a solid understanding of clinical processes and regulatory environments.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in scientific, laboratory, or clinical settings, utilizing strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Preferred knowledge of diagnostic assays.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • PMP certification is mandatory.
  • 1-6 years of project management experience.
  • Experience with medical devices and collaboration with cross-functional teams in scientific or clinical environments.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and effective negotiation capabilities.
  • Preferred understanding of diagnostic assays.
