Early Intervention Occupational Therapist Opportunity

Benchmark Human Services is seeking a part-time and full-time Occupational Therapist to join our team in Bridgeport, Fairfield, Stratford, and Trumbull. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with children and families to promote healthy development and address functional needs in various developmental domains.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer evaluations and assessments to identify children's strengths and needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote child development and address adaptive development, behavior, and play, and sensory, motor, and postural development.
  • Collaborate with families and team members to promote a healthy learning environment and provide families with information, skills, and support related to enhancing their child's development.
  • Participate in Birth to Three sponsored trainings, meetings, and learning opportunities as appropriate.
  • Comply with all Federal and State regulations, including those outlined in the Connecticut Birth to Three Program Regulations.
Requirements:
  • Possess a valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of CT.
  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Valid Connecticut driver's license.
  • One year of experience working with children in early intervention.
  • Bilingual encouraged.
