Position Overview

Salary: Base $70k+ DOE + Commission
OrthAlign, Inc., a pioneering company in smart medical technologies, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to enhance our market presence in the West Virginia and Western Pennsylvania regions. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, with a strong affinity for sales, orthopedics, and innovative technology. This role is centered around building relationships and driving growth in the hip and knee replacement sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel within the designated territory to engage with surgeons, conduct product demonstrations, facilitate educational sessions, and onboard new users.
  • Boost sales and product utilization for KneeAlign, UniAlign, and HipAlign offerings.
  • Deliver primary clinical training and educational support to clients while effectively communicating technical product details.
  • Collaborate with the AVP/ASD to establish sales objectives, strategies, and execution plans tailored to the region.
  • Instruct and mentor users on the effective application of our technologies.
  • Manage administrative responsibilities including sales reporting, activity tracking, inventory oversight, and expense management in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of sales experience in orthopedic implants, enabling technologies, or capital sales.
  • Comprehensive understanding of orthopedics, particularly in hip and knee replacement procedures.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Residence within the assigned territory is required.
  • Demonstrated success in increasing sales and expanding customer bases.
  • Proficiency in all primary operating room procedures, exhibiting confidence as a partner and product expert.
  • Insight into territory markets and the healthcare system.
  • Strong grasp of the sales process in both hospital and ASC environments, with the ability to influence key decision-makers.
  • Thorough knowledge of the orthopedic marketplace, especially in enabling technologies such as robotics and navigation.
  • Solid understanding of partial, primary, and revision knee/hip replacements.
  • Experience with VAC and product approval committees is advantageous.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to adapt in dynamic environments.
  • Team-oriented, prioritizing the needs of customers and colleagues.
  • Integrity-driven while maintaining a competitive spirit.
