Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Corrosion Technician to join our team at New-Hart Services, Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of high voltage substation equipment through effective coating and repair techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hand prep and coat transformers to prevent corrosion
  • Blast and coat CSL to ensure a durable finish
  • Prepare and coat electrical equipment to prevent damage
  • Perform metal repairs to extend the lifespan of equipment
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by management
  • Travel with our crew to job sites, with estimated 3-4 nights per week
  • Pass NASAP, DCCHT, and DCCOF DISA drug tests

Requirements:

  • Valid TWIC Card
  • Pass DISA drug tests and background check

Preferred Experience:

  • Related experience preferred

Job Type and Pay:

  • Full-time position
  • Temp to hire
  • Pay starting at $17/hour or $18/hour with plant experience
