Position Overview

This is a temporary role expected to last for a duration of 2-3 months. We are seeking a skilled electromechanical assembler to contribute to an important project.

Key Responsibilities

The individual in this role will be responsible for:

  • Executing routine assembly tasks of a repetitive nature on mechanical and/or electronic components and sub-assemblies within the product line for both military and civilian applications.
  • Assembling devices (mechanical and/or electronic) to create complete units or subassemblies at designated locations, which includes programming transmitters and utilizing laser technology.
  • Fabricating sub-components as necessary using a variety of tools and machinery.
  • Conducting visual inspections and functional testing throughout the assembly process.
  • Performing calibration on devices as required.
  • Maintaining precise inventory records and informing the team lead of any adjustments or scrap.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • IPC J-STD-001 certification.
  • Strong precision soldering skills.
  • Understanding of mechanical assembly concepts and the ability to follow schematics.
  • Proficiency in reading technical drawings and bills of materials.
  • A High School Diploma or GED.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve manufacturing discrepancies.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
Compensation

The hourly wage for this position ranges from $20 to $24.
