Lettershop Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lettershop Supervisor to lead our mail insertion team on the 2nd shift. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our mail inserting equipment and supervising a team of hourly employees.

• Lead and direct the mail insertion team to meet quality, budgeted hours, materials, and output requirements.
• Execute production schedules and communicate effectively with the Lettershop Manager.
• Operate and maintain mail inserting equipment, troubleshoot issues, and handle both cut-sheet and roll paper stock jobs.
• Collaborate with Prepress, Print, and Mail teams on imposition and workflows recommendations.
• Perform production quality verifications, daily maintenance, and assist with emergency maintenance.
• Complete departmental tasks, including data entry of jobs being processed in ERP for labor tracking, material usage, and productivity numbers.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, and flexibility to work overtime and in other departments as needed.

• 3+ years of continuous work experience in the mail production industry.
• Lettershop experience, experience with inserting equipment, mail folders, etc.
• Experience as a production lead or supervisor of production staff.
• Effective process management skills, excellent communication skills, and high school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, and apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and aptitude for accuracy and a meticulous eye for detail.

The ideal candidate will be able to stand on their feet for at least 8 hours a day, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a temperature-controlled, production facility environment.
