Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Laboratory Support Specialist to join our team at International Staff Consulting.

In this role, you will be responsible for receiving and sorting clinical lab specimens, preparing specimens for testing and analysis, and maintaining all lab equipment.

The ideal candidate will have previous medical/lab or production experience and basic computer knowledge. If you are a motivated and flexible individual who can handle biological specimens comfortably, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and sort clinical lab specimens
  • Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
  • Maintain all lab equipment and perform minor instrumentation maintenance
  • Troubleshoot any specimen-related issues
  • Replenish test bench supplies as needed
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment
  • Complete record logs and other administrative duties as requested

About the Position:

This is a 3-month contract, part-time opportunity with a schedule of Monday - Friday, 7am - 3:30pm. The hourly rate is $18.00.
