Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Afton Properties, Inc. is a full-service Real Estate Management Company seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems as needed.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as painting, carpentry, and basic appliance repairs.
  • Respond to maintenance requests from residents and address any concerns in a timely manner.
  • Inspect the property regularly to identify potential maintenance issues and proactively address them.
  • Ensure the property is clean and well-maintained, including common areas, grounds, and amenities.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for emergency maintenance requests outside of regular business hours.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, supplies, and equipment.
  • Collaborate with other members of the maintenance team and property management to prioritize and complete tasks effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and community policies.
Requirements:
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Ability to understand instructions verbally and in written form.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, multi-task, and have good organizational skills.
  • Ability to frequently stand and walk.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to frequently lift, climb, kneel, stoop, crouch, and/or crawl.
  • Ability to work around chemical cleaning solutions.
