Role Responsibilities:

The ESE Coordinator plays a crucial role in the implementation and adherence to policies and procedures related to our special education services. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading student study teams to formulate effective interventions
  • Managing educational plans for students
  • Assisting in the resolution of issues within Student Support Services
  • Overseeing the quality of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Education Plans (EPs)
  • Providing expert consultation for staffing exceptional students
  • Coordinating all mandatory ESE meetings
  • Monitoring the progress of all ESE students
  • Collaborating with school personnel on various support initiatives
  • Maintaining precise records and documentation
  • Working with external agencies that provide services to students with disabilities
  • Coordinating activities with the school district and families
  • Performing any additional duties as assigned by the Principal
