Remote School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist

VocoVision is seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a Remote School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist.

We are looking for someone with minimum 1+ years of speech therapy experience, who can conduct virtual assessments, develop individualized education plans, and provide virtual therapy sessions for students in a school setting.

This position requires a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program, an active Massachusetts license as a Speech-Language Pathologist, and ASHA certification preferred. A minimum of 2 years of experience in school-based or pediatric settings is also required.

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs and goals
  • Provide virtual therapy sessions for students in a school setting, targeting speech and language disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to facilitate students' progress and address communication challenges effectively
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and session notes
  • Utilize technology to engage students during virtual therapy sessions
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research, techniques, and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active Massachusetts license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • ASHA certification preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in school-based or pediatric settings
  • Familiarity with remote therapy platforms and technology
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-sufficiency in time management, meeting deadlines, and working independently
