About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Director to join our team at Vaco. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all financial activities, ensuring the financial health and strategic direction of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Function: Develop and analyze financial models and reports to support strategic decision-making, and provide weekly reporting of financial results and ongoing forecasting on a monthly, quarterly, and seasonal basis.
  • Develop and Analyze Financial Models: Prepare and update financial forecasts and projections regularly, and oversee the budgeting process, including the preparation of financial models and presentation materials for senior leadership.
  • Participate in the Monthly Financial Close Process: Ensure accurate and timely reporting, and identify and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to manage and forecast business performance.
  • Develop Strong Cross-Functional Partnerships: Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders, and conduct ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed.
  • Create and Deliver Executive-Level Presentations: Summarize detailed financial information and key findings, and continuously identify and implement opportunities for process improvements.
  • Ensure Compliance with Internal Controls and Financial Regulations: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the retail sector required.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities, proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
