About the Role:
Snowflake is seeking a seasoned leader to join our Value Engineering team as a Senior Director, Value Engineering. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing team and drive business growth by developing and articulating compelling value propositions for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of experienced Value Engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful customer engagements.
- Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages innovative thinking and drives business results.
- Develop and articulate compelling value propositions in collaboration with product management, marketing, and cross-functional teams.
- Engage with key customers to understand their business challenges and demonstrate how Snowflake's products can address those needs.
- Represent the Value Engineering function in internal and external forums, such as industry conferences, webinars, and customer workshops.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in Value Engineering, consulting, business development, or a related role in a technology company.
- Proven track record of leading teams, hiring, and building high-performance organizations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at various levels.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and build strong working relationships.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4-5 years of experience leading a Value Engineering team at a technology company.
- Masters degree in business preferred.
- Understanding of concepts of data science, AI/ML, data collaboration, and data warehouse/lake.
- Knowledge of FinOps and key concepts as it relates to customer cloud adoption.

- Competitive base salary range: $150,000 - $214,200.
