As a Security Vault Associate, you will collaborate with your team to manage the inventory within our cash vaults for Loomis clients. Applicants must possess a valid Handgun License to be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify identifying numbers or seals on deposit bags and/or change shipments against the accompanying receipts or provided manifests.
  • Accurately count items, document amounts and serial numbers, and sign and date receipts and manifests.
  • Efficiently load and unload wagons or flatbed carts containing bags and boxes of coin.
  • Organize individual cargo items by designated routes.
  • Engage in verbal communication with colleagues and customers via telephone.

Essential Requirements

  • Ability to load and unload bags and boxes of currency, checks, and coins, averaging 50 lbs. per item multiple times during a 6 to 10-hour shift, 5 to 6 days a week.
  • Capable of pushing wagons, carts, and dollies loaded with cargo weighing several hundred pounds.
  • Unrestricted capacity to repetitively bend, stoop, squat, stand, walk, climb, twist, turn, and reach.
  • Competence in performing repetitive lifting of items averaging 50 lbs. each from the floor.
  • Ability to walk continuously between various locations such as bins, vaults, booths, and counters.
  • Capability to stand on a concrete floor for approximately 80 percent of the shift.
  • Proficiency in signing and recording numbers by hand, making entries on records, and preparing reports.
  • Ability to count, add, subtract, and balance numerical columns.
  • A valid firearms permit or the ability to meet applicable firearms requirements may be necessary.

**Loomis will cover the costs for security and firearms qualifications, licensing, and permitting.**
