- Manage Patient Information: Collect, verify, and update patient information, including demographics, insurance, and financial details.
- Prepare Examination Rooms: Ensure examination rooms are properly prepared for patient visits, including cleaning and restocking supplies.
- Communicate with Patients and Staff: Provide excellent customer service, responding to patient inquiries, and communicating effectively with healthcare staff.
- Perform Administrative Tasks: Accurately complete forms, documents, and other administrative tasks related to patient care.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work cooperatively with healthcare professionals to ensure timely pre-authorizations, medication reconciliation, and other critical tasks.
- Education and Certification: High school graduate or equivalent required; medical assistant certification preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; basic proficiency in computer use.
