Job Summary

The Executive Chef Manager is accountable to the Director of Operations and supports the restaurant by implementing systems and processes for consistency and excellence. This key role will also support Front of House Management to ensure that all of the restaurant's needs are being handled, Front and Back of House, and that professional communication is at the highest level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and Staff Management: Schedule and manage the Back of House staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain the upkeep of kitchen equipment and space, including preventative maintenance and handling acute repairs.
  • Menu Execution: Master the consistent execution of all dishes, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Inventory Management: Manage food ordering, inventory, and storage to keep food costs within set targets.
  • Vendor Communication: Communicate with vendors to ensure quality and price-point products are brought into the house.
  • Staff Development: Support the growth and development of kitchen staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
