About the Role

As a Senior Applications Engineer, you will serve as the primary technical liaison for our Logic Library products within the Synopsys DesignWare Intellectual Property (IP) suite. Your role is crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction and product excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert technical assistance on Synopsys Designware Logic Libraries, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams, marketing, and fellow Applications Engineers to deliver timely solutions to customer needs.
  • Support the installation, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of Synopsys Designware Logic Libraries.
  • Ensure that customer requirements are met and that products function as intended.
  • Utilize SolvNet and the Engineering Database to document and track customer issue resolutions.
  • Create and update application notes, FAQs, training materials, and other resources to facilitate customer access to vital information.
  • Mentor team members and provide constructive feedback to product and engineering teams for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

We typically seek candidates with a minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience in standard cell circuit design or library characterization. A solid understanding of ASIC design flow and methodology, particularly in backend physical design processes, is essential. Familiarity with front-end design processes, as well as experience in Timing signoff, Synthesis, Extraction, and LVS/DRC, is advantageous. Experience in post-silicon debugging and validation is also beneficial.
