Chemours is looking for a Chemical Engineering Co-op to become part of our dynamic team. This role will report to the Engineering Supervisor.

As a Chemical Engineering Co-op, you will gain invaluable experience by engaging in hands-on projects within a chemical manufacturing environment. You will collaborate with seasoned engineers, applying your academic knowledge to real-world engineering challenges.

Successful co-op candidates will possess strong communication skills, self-awareness, and a natural curiosity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with experienced engineers on projects focused on enhancement and expansion.
  • Support operations and maintenance teams in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
  • Engage in process safety management activities and assessments.
  • Contribute to team discussions and conference calls.
Qualifications:
  • Enrollment in an accredited college or university as a rising Sophomore or higher at the time of assignment.
  • Pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering or related fields.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Involvement in relevant extracurricular activities, organizations, or projects beyond the classroom.
  • A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
