As a Capital & Project Manager at Vibrantz Technologies, you will be responsible for interpreting, organizing, executing, and managing support for strategic capital improvements and special projects. You will oversee the engineering review, project management, cost control, and sustainability plan of respective strategic and capital projects.

The Capital & Project Manager is a member of the Plant Leadership Team, which promotes safety as a core value, supports the company's vision and goals, and drives operational excellence. In this key role, you must be capable of working well both independently and in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall project schedule, scope, budget, and quality via project management skills for all projects at the site.
  • Manage complex engineering projects related to new production, capital investments, and cost savings opportunities.
  • Communicate effectively between project team members, vendors/contractors, operations, and management teams on any safety incidents, delays, costs adjustments, or impacts to current projects.
  • Manage the overall capital budget, tracking capital expenses for various engineering projects and coordinating with the Purchasing Department to collect bids on capital investments.
  • Coordinate multiple projects in parallel to be successful in this role, establishing timelines and deadlines for planning, implementing, and maintaining applicable engineering projects.
  • Oversee external vendors/contractors to ensure safety standards are met or exceeded throughout project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience, including a minimum of two years in a Chemical plant environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, strong planning and organizational ability.
  • Knowledge of Continuous Improvement Processes, Project Experience, and experience with Process Controls Systems.
