Position Summary:

We are seeking a proactive Financial Planning Analyst to support the financial goals of our organization. The role involves maintaining essential management reports, aiding in the period-end closing process, and delivering both operational and financial analyses to bolster the company's strategic initiatives. This is a full-time position based at our corporate offices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate management reports by extracting, compiling, and analyzing data, including ad hoc reports.
  • Evaluate results, track variances, and identify trends to uncover potential issues.
  • Propose enhancements by conducting root cause analyses, interpreting data, and performing comparative assessments.
  • Boost efficiency through the development of automated reporting systems.
  • Collaborate with departmental supervisors to address and resolve finance-related challenges.
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive database of financial information for historical analysis and forecasting purposes.
  • Create regular and ad hoc reports to support business objectives.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a Financial Planning & Analysis role, with a proven track record of managing financial analysis projects independently.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related discipline is required.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel functionalities is essential.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with financial software, data warehousing tools, or predictive analysis and data visualization applications.
  • Familiarity with operational/labor platforms such as Food Storm, Dayforce by Ceridian, BR Data, FMS, etc.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 10 lbs regularly.
  • Standing: Up to 2 hours per day.
  • Sitting: Up to 8 hours per day.
  • Walking: Up to 2 hours per day.
  • Reaching: Up to 2 hours per day.
  • Compliance with Covid-19 related PPE requirements as per company policy.

Travel Expectations:

  • Independent and reliable local travel may be required up to 10% of the time.
