Job Summary

The Manager of Business Intelligence and Financial Planning is responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of comprehensive financial models and reports to enable the organization to make informed decisions on the effective use of company resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Modeling: Develop, maintain, and optimize revenue and cost models in Strata to accurately assess operating margins and opportunities. This includes cost models to report on Physician-level cost accounting.
  • Data Analysis: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of business and clinical systems and operational workflows to ensure data availability and integrity used in Decision Support models.
  • Team Leadership: Daily management of a team of intermediate to advanced analysts, leading with integrity and transparency, providing guidance and regular feedback, and cultivating growth opportunities to foster a highly-engaged culture.
  • Communication: Present financial models and analyses to audiences of clinical and financial backgrounds, and varying levels of leadership, to validate results and ensure thorough understanding of assumptions and key outcomes.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in a comparable role required, with healthcare experience preferred, especially in a Medical Foundation or Medical Group.
  • Skills: Proven organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with advanced Excel, Access, and/or database skills, and experience with Epic, Strata, and/or Peoplesoft a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
