Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the introduction of new menu items with the corporate executive chef.
  • Plan food production to align with service hours, ensuring quality and presentation.
  • Supervise the preparation of all food items, adhering to standard recipes and dietary requirements.
  • Oversee portion control for food service.
  • Properly store and handle raw and prepared foods, ensuring accurate labeling.
  • Maintain compliance with local health department regulations in food handling.
  • Implement proper food handling techniques to minimize waste and costs.
  • Report equipment maintenance needs and facilitate necessary repairs.
  • Act as a liaison for staff-related issues, communicating with Human Resources.
  • Adhere to all uniform, grooming, safety, and sanitation protocols.

Required Knowledge and Skills:
  • Possession of ServeSafe Certification & Food Handlers Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Basic math skills for inventory and cost management.
  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions effectively.
  • Experience in supervising and motivating team members, with a strong understanding of management practices.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, organizational, and creative skills.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Effective delegation of responsibilities among team members.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
