Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Account Manager to join our team in Sioux Falls, SD. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring new customers through outbound and inbound inquiries, leveraging your contact network in the assigned region. You will also be responsible for delivering sales presentations, identifying and developing sales opportunities, and building trust and rapport with customers and prospective customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales goals and sales activity requirements.
  • Meet face-to-face with customers regularly and interact with them at various levels.
  • Analyze and articulate new business/customer opportunities in terms of deal size, key customer players and decision makers, and how to secure those customers.
  • Develop and manage relationships between Sterling Computers Corporation and customers from initial contact through product fulfillment.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years overall experience in sales, with 3 years related experience within the commercial, state, local, and education sectors.
  • Possess a strong work ethic, team player mentality, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Be able to comprehend, understand, and articulate technology solutions and how they best apply to customers.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $95,000-$115,000, depending on experience, plus benefits such as health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
