Track Laborer

We are seeking a skilled Track Laborer - Regional Driver to join our team at Union Pacific Corporation. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of trains across North America.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct essential maintenance, repairs, and installations on railroad tracks
- Operate heavy equipment, including construction and farm machinery
- Transport track materials and equipment using appropriate load/unload devices
- Perform regular maintenance on tracks, including repairing, installing, and removing components as needed
- Maintain the trackbed, including tasks such as removing and replacing ballast, tamping ballast, and assisting with the unloading of ballast from ballast cars
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) of either Class A or Class B
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to comprehend and follow instructions, including operating and safety rules, bulletins, special instructions, and federal regulatory documents
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in Railroad Maintenance of Way work
- Demonstrated ability to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions
- Experience in a construction-oriented environment
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment, including construction and farm machinery
