As a key member of the Cranemasters team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of field-based work related to rerailing operations, track maintenance, and repair. Your responsibilities will include manual labor, load adjust/load transfer, and car repair, as well as adhering to all safety policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in daily safety briefings and follow all safety rules and regulations.
  • Perform manual labor, including cutting vegetation, digging holes, and carrying materials, in accordance with established processes and procedures.
  • Load, move, and distribute materials in preparation for work activities, as directed by supervisors.
  • Ensure equipment and materials are reloaded for safe transportation and participate in site clean-up.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of work experience in field-based operations involving manual labor.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to understand and follow directions.
  • Strong adherence to safety policies and procedures.
  • Ability to pass qualification tests, including E-Rail Safe and other training programs.
  • 24/7 availability to respond to emergency calls, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Demands:

  • Constantly on feet, walking, and carrying loads on uneven surfaces.
  • Working in all weather conditions.
  • Extended hours and constant bending, twisting, stooping, standing, and walking.
  • Regular lifting of up to 50 pounds, with loads in excess of 50 pounds to be made lighter.

Cranemasters is a 24/7 emergency service provider to the railroad industry, and as such, our employees are subject to work outside of normal working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
