Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Technician to provide essential therapy services to children on the autism spectrum. This role involves working Monday through Friday during evening hours, specifically from 4 PM to 7 PM.

As a Behavioral Technician, you will utilize the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to deliver individualized therapy to children with autism and related developmental challenges in various environments, including home, clinic, and educational settings.

Your responsibilities will include implementing behavior modification strategies through one-on-one sessions, collecting data electronically, assisting in parent training, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide invaluable support to our clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to clients
  • Execute tailored treatment plans designed by BCBAs
  • Gather and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of treatment plans
  • Assist BCBAs in training families on the implementation of treatment strategies
  • Engage in team meetings and professional development workshops
  • Maintain a safe and encouraging environment for clients
  • Adhere to the policies and procedures of STEPS, LLC

Candidate Requirements:

  • A minimum of one year of experience working with children facing behavioral challenges
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules, both full-time and part-time
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Registered Behavior Technician Certification
  • Bachelor's degree in a Behavioral Science or related discipline
  • At least one year of clinical experience with pediatric populations
  • Experience in ABA practices
