  • Act as the primary liaison for all client inquiries within a designated portfolio (primarily Mid-Market or Emerging accounts) under the guidance of the Account Executive, preparing all necessary renewal documentation (including premium and loss summaries, exposure details, coverage comparisons, and pricing information).
  • Develop the capacity to foresee potential issues through effective communication with clients or underwriters and by staying informed on industry developments.
  • Prepare marketing submissions and oversee ongoing negotiations with insurance carriers.
  • Evaluate quotes for accuracy and alignment with required coverages, terms, and pricing, and create comprehensive proposals.
  • Manage policy receipt, communicate necessary instructions to the relevant Centers of Excellence (COE), and keep them updated on any changes during negotiations, with the capability to process policies as needed.
  • Conduct premium allocations, prepare surplus lines templates, manage Certificate of Insurance requests, and handle various administrative tasks such as basic contract reviews, policy endorsements, and resolving discrepancies in coverage and premiums.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in utilizing EPIC and ensuring data integrity.
  • Exceptional organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Skilled in building relationships with underwriters and clients.
  • Competent in delegating tasks to appropriate team members when necessary.
  • Familiarity with MS Office applications (especially PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel) is essential.
  • Willingness to travel as required (up to 20% based on the portfolio and industry).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
