Therapist in Outpatient Speech Language Pathology Role

Kaiser Permanente is a leading not-for-profit health organization seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Milpitas, California.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience
About the RoleThis position involves providing diagnosis and treatment of communication disorders for complex cases, ensuring compliance with standards and regulatory requirements. You will oversee the work of entry-level staff and support community programs.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and at least two years of experience as a Speech Therapist. A California Speech-Language Pathologist License and Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate are required.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and administer diagnostic tests, providing individualized treatment to adults and children for communication disorders, voice and swallowing impairment, and neurological defects
- Advising physicians and member/caregivers of test results, collaborating with physicians as treatment plans change
- Providing training for junior therapists, participating in developing inservice programs for staff development
- Monitoring contract therapists' work and patient treatment in non-Kaiser facilities, serving as a consultant on interdisciplinary teams
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
- At least two years of experience as a Speech Therapist
- California Speech-Language Pathologist License
- Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate
