Claims Resolution Specialist

As a Claims Resolution Specialist at IMA Financial Group, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely and professional interactions with clients. Your primary responsibility will be to perform claims functions within an IMA office, maintaining a proactive approach to claim resolutions and strategies. You will communicate pertinent claim information to internal and external clients, develop strong working knowledge of Applied Epic and Carrier Interface Systems, and assist on claims projects as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interact professionally and timely with clients via email, phone, and in-person
• Perform claims functions within an IMA office, maintaining a proactive approach to claim resolutions and strategies
• Communicate pertinent claim information to internal and external clients
• Develop strong working knowledge of Applied Epic and Carrier Interface Systems
• Assist on claims projects, coordinate claim reviews, reports, loss runs, or other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
• 1 to 3 years of similar or related experience
• Experience with EPIC preferred
• Experience with MS Office products preferred/required (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel)
• A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business/trade school or completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program
• Prior claim experience preferred or coordination of claim and general insurance experience
• Strong communication skills and basic mathematical skills required
