Key Responsibilities:- Administer and maintain our Salesforce instance, including user management, security settings, data management, and customization of objects, fields, and page layouts.
- Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and workflows to support the needs of our sales and marketing teams.
- Focus the organization's use of data for what best serves the mission.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within Salesforce.
- Configure and customize Salesforce using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and other development tools.
- Automate processes using Salesforce tools such as process builder, flow automation, validation rules.
- Manage less complex Salesforce integrations - those not handled by a Consultant/Partner.
- Perform data imports, exports, and updates as needed.
- Provide support and training to end users on Salesforce functionality and best practices.
- Plan ahead for upgrades, seasonal releases and long-term projects.
- Train new users and grow the Salesforce skill set across the organization.
- Document Customizations made in Salesforce
- Bachelor's degree (any major) from an accredited college or university is required.
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
- Continuously work to improve own performance by pursuing opportunities for learning and getting feedback on own performance.
- Able to listen effectively and communicate in formal and informal settings using written and verbal methods.
- Build and maintain relationships with colleagues through the sharing of ideas and advice and show leadership through self-motivation and initiative.
- Demonstrate sound judgment and decision-making capability by identifying problems and creating solutions to overcome them.
- Able to manage multiple projects and assess project priorities, create detailed action plans, organize, and schedule meetings and tasks effectively.
- Be results orientated by understanding how to use selling techniques to identify opportunities, negotiate and manage sales, manage business needs, and cost requirements.
- Plan and carry out tasks without detailed instructions and prepare for problems or opportunities in advance by taking ownership of situations and being proactive in approach.
